The Ondo State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Banji Awolowo Ajaka, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Adeniran Ikuomola, has renewed the determination of the present government to accord priority to the provision of improve health care delivery in the State, through a comprehensive health care plan under the State Ministry of Health.
The Commissioner stated this at the quarterly "Data Dissemination and Review meeting of IMPACT MALARIA (PDO) INDICATOR for Quarter 2 of year 2025.

The Commissioner called for greater collaboration among all the Stakeholders, that all programs in the health sector are one, tend towards improving the health conditions of the people of the State and that the State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is rendering services to the people through all the health care facilities in the State, charging stakeholders to rise to the challenges as their performances will reflect the efforts of Mr Governor and if otherwise, there may be complaints about the present government as health care is another means of touching the lives of the people.
He therefore called on care givers to see all the health programs in the State as their own project and do what they can to ensure its success.

In his welcome address, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Adeniran Ikuomola, called on members from all the 18 LGAs present for constructive criticism of the Data presentation and performance as feedbacks are given prominence in the State health care plan, so data review is necessary from time to time for the benefit of all.
