Staff of the Ondo State Ministry of Health have been urged to synergize with the state government and support its policies and programmes in order to move the state to enviable heights.
The Deputy Director, Hospital Services, Ministry of Health and Change Ambassador, Ondo State Service Improvement Programme(ODSIP) in the Ministry, Mrs.Margaret Oladele gave the charge in a lecture she delivered today at the weekly departmental management meeting of the Department of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Health.
At the meeting which focused on the reforms policy of ODSIP, Oladele averred that the Ondo State home grown reform initiative is determined to attain a vibrant and resourceful public service for the overall development of Ondo State.
The Deputy Director said the reform initiative was essentially designed to effect positive transformation in the state's public service in order to achieve sustainable improvements.
While noting that the public service determines not only the efficiency and effectiveness of any administration, but also its altitude, Oladele averred that ODSIP was initiated to address existing compromises and general dysfunctions noticed in the state's public service.
She averred that the reform initiative will ensure a continuous bureaucratic improvement for qualitative service delivery in Ondo State through committed leadership, value re-orientation and process re-engineering.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Director, Finance and Administration, Ministry of Health, Mr.Tayo Akeju appreciated the guest lecturer and enjoined staff of the Ministry to apply all the details of the lecture in the discharge of their various duties in order to add values to their jobs.
Awards of Diligent Service Delivery were presented to Mrs.Oladele and Mrs.Adegboyega as the Best Officer for the week.
