ODSG COMMISSIONS NEW PROJECT AT COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECH.

The Permanent Secretary, Ondo State Ministry of Health, Pharmacist(Mrs.) Folukemi Aladenola has commended the Management and Staff of the State College of Health Technology, Akure for raising the college to the position of a leader in academic excellence and extra-curricular activities .

Aladenola gave the commendation at the commissioning ceremony of a building project executed for the use of the staff of the Departments of Pharmacy Technician and Community Health Extension Work in the institution.

The Permanent Secretary congratulated the Management, Staff and Students of the College on the successful completion of the building project which she noted was one of the projects that facilitated the recent full accreditation of the newly created Department of Pharmacy Technician in the institution.

Aladenola who described the commissioning ceremony as a celebration of the recent full accreditation granted the new Pharmacy Technician Department attributed the full accreditation to the cooperation and unity among all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.

She lauded the Provost and Principal Officers of the institution for the peaceful co-existence and harmony in the college urging them to sustain the trend.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Provost of the College, Dr. Felix Olawoye noted that the institution has dedicated academic and non-academic staff that are doing their best in sustaining the academic excellence it is widely noted for.

Olawoye appreciated Pharmacist (Mrs.) Aladenola for her efforts at elevating the status of the college stressing that the Permanent Secretary has been using her good office to promote the positive image of the institution.

The Provost highlighted other achievements of the college including the College Health Centre that has been equally accredited by the National Health Insurance Scheme.
