DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING, RESEARCH AND STATISTICS CELEBRATES RETIRED OFFICERS

The Department of Planning, Research and Statistics of the Ministry of Health has celebrated five officers of the department who recently disengaged from the service in a glamorous send-forth party.

The officers are Dr.Felix Ikuesan who proceeded to the academic world, Mrs.Lucia Akinwaleodun, Mrs.Adejugbagbe, Mrs.Ayeni who retired from service and a Corp Member, Miss Esther Onyekachukwu who completed her National Youth Service.

Speaking at the event, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Pharmacist (Mrs.) Folukemi Aladenola appreciated the celebrants for contributing their maximum quota to the growth and development of the Ministry of Health stressing that their outstanding record of service will remain indelible in the history of the Ministry.

Aladenola said the celebrants worked with other officers as one big family in the Ministry during their service years.

While describing the retirement day as a day every public officer looks forward to, the Permanent Secretary congratulated the celebrants and members of their families praying for success in their future endeavours.

Aladenola equally commended the disengaging Corp Member, Miss Esther Onyekachukwu for her commitment to duties and loyalty urging her to maintain such virtues in her future endeavours.

Also speaking at the event, the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Dr.Uche Odionyenma thanked the celebrants for their immense contributions to the growth and development of the department in particular and the Ministry in general.

Odionyenma noted that they all served the department in particular and the Ministry in general meritoriously during their service years.

Responding on behalf of the celebrants, Dr.Felix Ikuesan appreciated the Permanent Secretary, Pharmacist (Mrs.) Folukemi Aladenola, the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics,Dr.Uche Odionyenma, other Management Staff and General Staff of the Ministry of Health for the honour accorded them.
